Mentally Achieving Recovery

Do you ever feel like you don’t have enough time during the day to accomplish what you want? I had to hold off on my riding lately because of some of my larger projects for school, and my foot has not been in the best shape to get on the bike. I am walking around the house without my walking boot which is a good thing, but as I have said before, I am slowly getting more comfortable up on it.

I might not be riding my bike almost every day like I was previous to my accident, but I have been recovering in other areas of my life outside of cycling. I have been reconnected with parts of myself through blogging. I recently posted to my technical blog, which I felt carried some weight in regard to giving without expecting something in return.

The exercise in giving to someone in need can be just as healthy as doing hill sprints on your favorite stretch of hilly road. Both can be VERY satisfying.
